Samuele Ventanni was born in Umbertide on 4 June 1986, the son of an artist (his father is the established painter Emanuele). He has been attending the Art Institute of Gubbio in the Architecture sector since 2001. Despite his young age he has already gained significant experience in Italy and abroad: in 2007 he exhibited in the collective exhibition “Contemporary, Italian Art between form and colour”, set up in the Palffy Palace in Bratislava. In 2008 he participated in “Contatti: Kontakty” in the offices of Bratislava (Dom umenia) and Perugia (Rocca di Umbertide, Center for Contemporary Art); at the “Colorfest” in the Minsk National Library, where it received the critics' award for best revelation; at “Artefiera” in Parma and Forlì. Twenty years on several occasions he gave life to "The forms of light": an event inaugurated in 2008 in the Ristoarte Pomarancio in Umbertide; repeated in 2009 at the Ristoarte corys in Cortona; in 2010 at the Milleniumart gallery in Lucca; in 2010 and this year at the Salone Gocce in Sansepolcro and Arezzo. In 2009 his works were presented at the Palace of the Republic Gallery in Minsk in the “Object Painting” exhibition; at the Znad Wilii gallery in Vilnius with “The Modulor and The Monumentality” (event repeated in 2010 at the Central Bank in Vilnius). Last year during the Festival de Fitness in Rome he exhibited his works in the stand of the "Night Time" magazine, receiving much acclaim. In 2010 one of his works was donated to the actor, director and screenwriter Terry Gilliam. Arriving in Mantua in 2011 with a solo show in the CM Artestudio gallery. In 2012 he exhibited in the Recò Gallery in Citta di Castello, in a collective exhibition called "Artisti alla Moda", and in the same year he participated in the art fair in Rome "Affordable Art Fair". In 2013 he exhibited together with his father at the Rocca di Umbertide Center for Contemporary Art with the exhibition Ventanni. Noi, Il Sogno nel Sogno, receiving numerous acclaim, so much so that the exhibition was also re-proposed in the prestigious rooms of the CERP - Rocca Paolina exhibition center in Perugia.
