Sell
This is the exclusive contract formalizing the agreements with the seller when the work is entrusted to the auction house for sale. It is signed by the consignor and the representative of the auction house and contains all the terms and conditions of the relationship from the time of delivery to the sale or return of the work.
The works sold can be paid to the Seller by cash (within the limits established by law), bank transfer, cheque or bank draft.
The hammer price of the lots, net of commission and any expenses charged to the Buyer, shall be paid within 45 working days of the end of the auction or, in the event of late payment by the Buyer of the lots, within 5 days of receipt of payment and in any case only once full payment has been received from the Buyer.
Commission and expenses shall be deducted from the hammer price directly at the time of payment.
In the event that, during the compilation of the mandate of sale, the advance on sale service was granted to the seller (which foresees — for consignments with a minimum value of EUR 3,000.00 — an advance to the consignor of up to 50% of the sum of the reserve prices for each single mandate of sale), the amount disbursed shall be deducted at the time of payment for the works sold.
