Transport and insurance costs

Transport and insurance costs are borne by the seller, within the terms agreed in the mandate of sale. The cost of the insurance is advanced by Capitolium Art, which is authorized to deduct the amount subsequently from the hammer price. In the case of unsold lots, this cost must be paid by the seller before returning the works.

Resale right

For works of modern art subject to ‘resale right’ (all works pursuant to Art. 145 of Italian Law No 633/1941 (Protection of copyright and other related rights) and subsequent amendments, the additional percentage of expenditure determined pursuant to Articles 144 and et seq. of Law 633/1941 and subsequent amendments and additions shall be applied. Unsold lots

Unsold works are available for collection by the Seller or by a person expressly delegated for this purpose from the day following the end of the mandate. If requested by the seller, the auction house can include unsold lots in a future auction on condition that the reserve prices are reduced by 50%."
