The accepted forms of payment are: cheque, bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and cash within the limits established by law.
In the case of a cheque or bank transfer, payment shall be considered complete only upon confirmation by the bank that the amount has been credited to our account.
Credit card payments are subject to a 3% service charge. Items shall only be delivered upon payment of the full amount due.
Payment of the hammer price must be made within 5 days of the win. In the event of default, Capitolium Art is entitled to rescind the sale and, without prejudice to the right to compensation for damages, return the lot to the seller..

Payments must be received no later than five working days after the auction ends.
In the event of default by the buyer, the auction house is authorized to rescind the sale and to return the work to the seller.

For purchases of a total hammer price of at least EUR 5,000.00, excluding auction rights (even multiple works, for each single auction), we can offer an interest-free deferred payment plan, in 6 monthly rates with immediate payment of the auction rights and the first instalment. Applications for deferred payment must be made at least 1 day before the auction featuring the lots in question. Late applications shall not be accepted.
