Ademaro Bardelli Biography
Ademaro Bardelli was born in Florence on 22 December 1934. From 1949 to 1953 he attended the Art Institute of Florence, actively participating in the artistic world from 1956 onwards. After completing his military service he went abroad to Belgium, where he worked in a coal mine, before moving to Switzerland and France carrying out menial jobs as a porter, stonemason, dock worker and waiter. In 1956 he returned to Italy and began his professional artistic career, thanks to his enormous talent. His works are often defined as "Meditation Painting", they capture faces, hands and profiles without background or escape, where a constant need for love and an emotion of eternity emerge, which the painter pursues from canvas to canvas, giving to his painting - even if not triumphant or grandiose - the sense of an artistic prayer, however, the canvases do not escape the formidable power of the line, but also give the sensation of moving in a liquid atmosphere which slows down the pace and recovers that atmosphere in whose memories arise in the memory. He passed away in January 2010 in Barberino di Mugello. He participated in hundreds of international art fairs, such as Miart Milan, Arte Padova, Arte Fiera Bologna, Art Jonction Nice, Art Jonction Cannes, Australian Contemporary. Art Fair Melbourne, St'ART Strasbourg, Europ'Art Geneva, Art Nimes, Holland Art Fair Den Haag, KunstRAI Amsterdam, Lineart Gent, Classic Kortrijk, Art Luxembourg, Salon d'Automne Luxembourg, Art Event Lille and Kunst Copenhagen, and has had numerous solo exhibitions, such as in Los Angeles, Saidemberg Gallery, San Francisco, Ankrun Gallery, Florence, Salone Italiano Arte Contemporanea Fidenza, and Centro Culturale S. Michele.
