Adriano Bogoni (Monteforte d'Alpone, Verona, 1896 - Cesena, 1970). A wonderful portraitist, he gives his works a psychological charge and introspective investigation. In the landscapes and still lifes, which he began painting in the 1950s, he recreates the colors and shades of nature, with a predilection for the Ligurian sea. He attended the Cignaroli Academy in Verona, exhibited at the Turin Quadrennial in 1919 and at the Venice Biennale in 1920. In the Scaliger Castle of Malcesine, he founded the International Landscape Academy, winning national and international prizes. His works can be found in private collections and important galleries.
