Eugenio Bonivento (Chioggia, 8 June 1880 – Milan, 12 November 1956) was an Italian painter. He studied in Venice, at the Academy of Fine Arts. Subsequently he became the favorite pupil of Guglielmo Ciardi, with whom he shared the same poetic and pictorial predisposition, fueled by the Venetian spirit that united them. In his canvases he mainly painted the lagoon and the Venetian countryside. Among the exhibitions of his career, we remember the numerous participations in the Venice Biennale: that of 1912 and the three consecutive ones of 1920, 1922 and 1924. His paintings are preserved in the Gallery of Modern Art in Milan, the International Gallery of modern art of Venice, the Civic Museum of Bassano del Grappa, the Museum of Italian Art of Lima, the artistic collection of the Banca Commerciale Italiana and the Giovanni Morscio Art Gallery of Dolceacqua.
