Giancarlo Braghieri (Castelsangiovanni, 1930). Lives and works in Piacenza. He studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, with Pompeo Borra and at the Venice Academy. Designer and painter with very personal solutions and a surrealist imprint. His subjects are often deformed and placed in unreal contexts. He holds solo shows in various Italian cities. His canvases are illuminated with moonlight, have clear outlines and the subjects seem to come from the afterlife.
