Burkhard Vogtherr, born in 1942, has been running his own product design business since 1972, working for renowned furniture manufacturers around the world. He is one of the best-known German furniture designers and has won many awards throughout his career. His expertise in areas such as working posture at work and movement sequences is incorporated today into his designs for swivel chairs and conference furniture. However, Burkhard Vogtherr does not just train and design, but develops prototypes that stand in their own right. This often results in highly inventive furniture that leads to patents around the world.
