Born in Milan in 1930, he approached painting at a very young age by enrolling at the Cimabue Academy of Art and completing his studies at the Brera School of Artifices, the Milan Castle School of Art and the Brera School of Nude. After a few years in which he worked in the field of illustration, around the mid-1960s he began to establish himself as a painter and participated in numerous exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, always obtaining widespread recognition. After a few years in which he worked in the field of illustration, around the mid-1960s he began to establish himself as a painter and participated in numerous exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, always obtaining widespread recognition. A great portraitist in the eighties/nineties he approached sculpture and ceramics by decorating some plates.
