Stefano Cavallo (1913 - 1997) was an Italian painter and printmaker. Born in San Michele Salentino, in Brindisi in 1913, he studied at the Institute of Fine Arts and obtained his teaching diploma there until 1933, as a student of Libero Andreotti. He teaches drawing at middle and high schools and teaches at the government scientific high school in Milan. During his career he successfully participates in numerous regional, interregional and national exhibitions and has held personal exhibitions in Osimo, Senigallia, Cattolica, Legnano, Gallarate and Milan. He won competitions and obtained prizes (VII National Award for Marine Painting of Ravenna, 1959; the Great Gold Medal of the City of Milan). He is an oil and watercolor painter, sculptor, draftsman and lithographer. He also becomes a member of the Engravers of Italy.
