Giovanni Colombo, also known as Giovanni da Busnago (Busnago, 1908 – Gaggiano, 1972), was an Italian painter. Self-taught, he made his debut with some solo exhibitions in Rome in the 1930s, before electing Milan as his adopted city. There he frequented the clarists and painters of the Bagutta group. He was mainly a painter of city views, of Venice, Paris and above all Milan, a city of which he was able to render the liveliness of the most picturesque views. One of his works, Via Monte di Pietà in 1840 (circa 1970) is preserved in the art collections of the Cariplo Foundation.
