Sergio Dangelo (Milan, 19 April 1932). Painter of international scope, he studied in Milan and abroad - Switzerland and France in particular - moving through Europe from a very young age and moving to Brussels, where he lived for some years, coming into contact with the surrealist environments and with the Cobra group. In 1943, during a mathematics lesson at the Liceo Berchet, he executed his first drawing with a "cold and lyrical" line according to a definition by the poet Guido Ballo and the speed of execution from then on would be a constant in his figurative expression. Electa, 2005) In Belgium he frequented the representatives of the avant-garde, acquiring important elements of the culture and thought of those places, elements which contributed to increasing his already remarkable and clearly evident artist's sensitivity.
