Martino Delego is a painter born in Genoa in 1956. Trained in the workshop of master Kodra, he has exhibited his works in numerous exhibitions in Italy. Very active in the artistic environment of Brera. The artist resides and works in Milan, all his artistic research is aimed at an exuberant and colorful surrealism, with a sarcastic tone and full of ironic allusions. The surrealist peculiarity can be seen in his works; this generates mechanomorphic creatures, the creatures occupy the entire scene, placing it on a chaotic and swirling dynamism. Everything is further emphasized by the style adopted by Delego. There is also a reference to medieval drawings in his compositions; for two-dimensionality and colored synthesis. Color is in fact a peculiarity of the artist, thanks to the use of a wax technique he immerses his works in sparkling colors and with iridescent and atmospheric shades.
