Auguste Gaspard Louis, Baron Boucher-Desnoyers (19 December 1779 - 16 February 1857), was a French engraver. At the age of twelve, he was introduced to Lethière, who admitted him into his studio, where Desnoyer soon attracted attention. It was in his studio that the engraver Darcis, who had seen a head of a Magdalene that Desnoyers engraved on tin when he was just ten years old, took it under his care. One of his most important works was the full-length portrait of Emperor Napoleon in coronation robes, an engraving that was exhibited at the Salon of 1810. Also in 1810, he engraved a small portrait of Empress Marie Louise. Desnoyer died in Paris on February 16, 1857.
