Aldo Dorella (1925 - ) was born in 1925. His pictorial research is basically figurative and stands out above all for the production of genre scenes and melancholy figures of clowns and acrobats. His style takes inspiration from Impressionism to transfer intense vibrations of vitality and poetry onto his subjects. Only with the development of nineteenth-century realistic currents were subjects of everyday life considered of the same importance as historical or religious ones. All of Aldo Dorella's pictorial production is made up of genre scenes. This mixed technique is very significant of the style adopted by the artist Aldo Dorella. In fact we can see how this painter tends to transfigure all perceived reality into an intense chromatic and pictorial vibration. In fact, he adopts a basically impressionistic manner, taking it, however, to its extreme consequences. His brushstrokes, in fact, not only record the effects of light on the subjects, but transfer the painter's own emotions, which are contained in that extremely moving and quivering hatching. In this way Aldo Dorella transfers life into his scenes, finding a sincere poetic inspiration even in everyday life itself which, at first glance, might seem banal.
