Michael EldridgeBorn in London, he now lives in the Marche where he has his studio and works as a painter and photographer. Since 1972 he has staged personal and collective exhibitions in Europe and the United States both as a photographer and as a painter. In the 1980s he won a scholarship as an educator to the Fulbright in California where he taught photography for a year. Between 1989 and 1995 he planned collective exhibitions created in collaboration with dancers, filmmakers and poets in England and Tuscany. In 1999, together with the photographer Simon Larbalestier, he conceived and created the “cult art” website 'Physik Garden' www.physikgarden.com. online art site and forum where he is the coordinator and where he writes and publishes 'The Spider Chronicles' as well as the virtual gallery, Glasshouse, where his pictorial and photographic works are exhibited.
