Libero Ferretti Biography
Alongside his work as a painter, he designs and paints panels for the stands of Textiloses et Textiles Cantoni, present at the Interstoff in Frankfurt and at Moda In in Milan. Member of the Permanente Museum and member of the annual artistic commission, he organizes a large exhibition on Abstraction in Milan for the Society of Fine Arts. He exhibits at the Triennale, at the Rotonda della Besana, at the Fondazione Caccia Rusca in Morcote, at the Banca Popolare di Milano at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Alagna, at the Premio Suzzara, at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan in homage to Strehler, at the Sala della Balla in the Castello Sforzesco of Milan, at the X International Art Biennial of Menton. Banca Commerciale, now Banca Intesa, includes two of his works from the 1980s in its prestigious collection: Piramide and Paesaggio. Other of his works are present at the Museum of Generations in Pieve di Cento, at the Museum of Modern Art in Ancona, at the Bodini Museum, at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Gazoldo degli Ippoliti and Gallarate, at the Museo della Permanente, at Polytechnic University of Marche, in the halls of the Municipality of Offagna and Verbania, at the Falconara Castle, at the University of Urbino and in private galleries and collections. Ferretti's last anthology dates back to the summer of 1999 at the Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona. To seal the profound bond that united this artist to his land of origin, source of inspiration and creativity.
