Pasquale Filannino was born in 1942 in Cerignola, Puglia, but currently lives and works in Turin. Creator of a brilliant artistic career, Filannino began painting with watercolor under the guidance of the master Angelo Bosio.
Starting in 1962, Pasquale Filannino began to exhibit his works in art exhibitions both in Italy and abroad, soon becoming an established artist. Piedmontese landscapes are his favorite subjects, which he represents with a very moving and dynamic pictorial style, characterized by a cursive brushstroke and sudden flashes.
His works are pervaded by a calm realism and a technical freshness that give his art immediacy and emotion. The taste for picturesque views and suggestive framing are distinctive elements of Pasquale Filannino's works.
