(Vicenza 1920 - Pavia 1987). Figurative painter, encouraged at the end of the 1950s by his friends Carlo Carrà and Pietro Morando, he began his exhibition activity presented by Orio Vergani. Starting from 1965 he began research into geometric abstraction. From 1959 to 1985 he exhibited in the main Italian cities (in 1984 at the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Suzzara), in France, Spain, Germany and the USA. He lived and worked in Valenza Po (AL). Among others, G. Kaisserlian, R. Sanesi, A. Gatto have written about him. C. Vivaldi, AC Quintavalle. The meetings with other important figures of the twentieth century were decisive for him, such as the artists De Chirico, Guttuso, Vespignani and Sassu and the poets Quasimodo and Erba.
