The sculptor Rita Gallè was born in Caltanissetta in 1931. In her early twenties she moved to Milan where she began to frequent the artistic environment and where she made her debut as a painter and sculptor in 1952. In 1967 she opened her first art gallery, followed by a second in 1974, where in addition to its own works it offers the works of the major emerging artists of the time. In the 1960s he began creating unique ceramic works and continued to use this medium throughout his artistic career. Attracted by the applied arts, in addition to sculpture, painting and ceramics, she also creates jewelery and pieces of furniture. He died in Oaxaca, Mexico, in 2009.
