Augusto Ghelfi, born in 1911 in Brescia and died in the same city in 2000, was a notable protagonist of the Lombard art of post-cubism realism. His connection with the Mantua region developed immediately after the Second World War, when he became friends with Giulio Perina, Francesco Ruberti and Giulio Salvadori. In 1957, Ghelfi participated in the Città di Bozzolo Prize, where one of his works was mentioned. He died in Brescia in 2000.
