Aldo Greco is a sculptor born in 1923. His artistic production represented the synthesis of the most significant artistic experiences of the early twentieth century, in particular Cubism and Futurism. His pieces, made mainly with traditional sculptural techniques such as ceramic, bronze and wood, intersect, especially in the mid-1970s, with original paths of experimentation with the use of even unconventional materials. Alongside his activity as a sculptor, the artist also carried out elaborate research in the field of painting and graphics, always expressing great attention to the plasticity of forms and therefore highlighting, in all his compositions, an essentially three-dimensional expressive vocation. A prominent figure in the group of Turin sculptors who animated the post-war artistic environment, Aldo Greco actively participated in the debate and cultural comparison on the new frontiers of art, also collaborating as a publicist with some sector magazines. Awarded with numerous institutional awards and recognitions, he has been the protagonist of a significant number of exhibitions in Italy and abroad. His works are part of public and private museum collections in various parts of the world.
