A famous French master glassmaker and decorator, he was artistic director of FontanaArte from 1954, for a decade. In those years he designed true design classics, such as the Fontana table lamp, still today one of the best sellers of the company whose name it bears. Having trained at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, he directed his specialization towards Decorative arts, under the guidance of great artists such as Jacques Grüber and Charles Lemaresquier. He has created numerous artistic stained glass projects for religious buildings, hotels, public spaces and was awarded the Legion of Honor in France.
