Antonio Massari was born in Lecce in 1932 but lives and works in Milan. He has been exhibiting since 1959 and has an "exuberant" exhibition activity to his credit with more than 150 solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad and an incalculable presence in group exhibitions and artistic events. Since 1980 it has been present at all editions of ARTEFIERA Bologna and since 1994 at the Milanese MIART. His works are included in the collections: Frank V. de Bellis Collection of San Francisco, Civic Gallery of Contemporary Art of Ascoli Piceno, Pinacoteca Comunale Torre Estensi of Copparo, Civic Gallery of Modern Art of Gallarate, Museo Carlo V Lecce and Museum of Bagnacavallo.
