Silvano Morandi, born in 1936 in the municipality of Reggello (Florence), lives and works in Florence. He has been painting since 1960 and, through various experiences, has arrived at a definitive pictorial design language developed with the utmost rigor. In 1983 he was invited to paint a painting for the Church of Civitella in Val di Chiana. It is cataloged at the Kunsthistorisches Institute in Florenz and at the Dutch University Institute of Art History in Florence, at the Historical Archive of Contemporary Arts of the Venice Biennale and at the CID of Prato. His works are found in the civic collections of Arezzo, Chitignano, Civitella in Val di Chiana, Finale Emilia, Prato.
