(Gardone Val Trompia, 1887 – Brescia, 1978).Dedicated to painting since his youth, Giuseppe Mozzoni entered the Brera Academy in Milan following the victory of the Lunari Prize. He then became famous throughout Italy for his work as a fresco artist. His works are characterized by strong readability. Mozzoni believed it was important to educate through art to a nationalistic feeling of Risorgimento style, based on the life of the city of Brescia. The municipality of Brescia dedicated a street in the historic center to Giuseppe Mozzoni.
