Renzo Orvieto (Turin, 20 April 1922 – Sanremo, 28 February 1999) was an Italian painter, sculptor and partisan. He graduated in musical composition, but soon dedicated himself to the activity of painter and sculptor. He will also be a partisan fighting in Val Tanaro, in the province of Cuneo. However, almost all of his activity as an artist takes place in Sanremo, the city where he moves and where he has his atelier. Since the 1950s he has attracted the attention of national critics, holding personal exhibitions in various Italian cities. The most notable will be those in Rome in 1970 and 1974. In the same year he also exhibited in Bologna and Perugia. On 27 September 2002 the Municipality of Sanremo dedicated a portico to him on the initiative of the ANPI.
