Persico Mario (Naples, 1930) Mario Persico is a Neapolitan artist with Dada and Surrealist roots. In the 1950s he was one of the signatories of Enrico Bay's Nuclear Art manifesto, a movement that opposed Neorealism. At the end of the 1950s he participated in the formation of "Gruppo 58" together with other artists. In 1970 his first anthological exhibition was organized by the “Senatore” gallery in Stuttgart. In 1963 he created the first "practicable" works and the "Chessboards". In 1972 he presented the second anthological work "From metamorphic figures to erotogaic cranes" at the "L'uomo e l'arte" gallery in Milan.
