Gianriccardo Piccoli (Milan 1941). He completed his training at the Brera Academy and had his first solo exhibition in Milan in 1963. Considered as an exponent of "existential figuration", the artist obtained numerous awards such as the Feltrinelli prize in 1984. He participated in the Venice Biennale in 1986. He exhibited for a long time in Switzerland and Germany. Some of his works are exhibited in important public collections, such as the Society for Fine Arts and Permanent Exhibition in Milan, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Locarno and the Stadtische Kunstsammlung in Wiesbaden. Themes dear to the artist are everyday objects and landscapes.
