Nani Razetti (Genoa, 1924). The artist's Genoese origins matured in him a continuous desire to move, therefore he wandered from one shore to another, from Genoa, Turin, the Canavese area, Milan and then landed in Calabria in Diamante. In his first phase of experimentation, a theme dear to the artist is nature, in a second moment the landscape loses interest in his eyes and the attention shifts to man. Humanity is identified in particular with women, the custodian of greater meanings. As regards the technique, the figures are not complete and the missing part, the voids become a symbol of mental space. The combination of colors and non-colors offers the artist's interpretation of the southern dimension.
