Dino Rossi Biography
Dino Rossi, born in Bernareggio in 1904, dedicated much of his art to plein air painting, a method he learned during his studies in London and Paris. During the 1930s and 1940s, Rossi traveled extensively, working in Central, South and North America, before moving to Switzerland from 1947 to 1950. Attracted by the discovery of new landscapes and new pictorial architecture, in the early 60, Rossi traveled to Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. Upon his return to Italy, Rossi embarked on a brilliant pictorial career, exhibiting his impressionist production, deeply influenced by the passion he had for William Turner and the Venetian Masters, in the major national and international galleries. Dino Rossi passed away on December 31, 1982.
