From a Sicilian family, Francesco Scianna was born in Padua in 1942. In 1971 he graduated in Architecture in Venice with a thesis in Urban Planning, supervisor [F-Scianna-con-Marzotto-Giannino 250 px] G. Carlo de Carlo and then began his profession as an architect, but his great passion remains painting, inspired by the great masters of futurism. Vintage cars are the recurring theme in his lithographs and canvases. In 1972 he purchased the large house on Monte Lozzo, which became his home for the periods he spent in Italy. He lives in London, where he works as a painter and graphic designer, and collaborates with the most prestigious English auctions. He recently collaborated on the restoration of the Palladian «Villa Saraceno» in Agugliaro, in the Vicenza area
