Giuseppe Succi (1914 - 1989) was born in Emilia in Bagnacavallo in 1914. He died in Anguillara, a town on Lake Bracciano, where he had moved late in life at the end of the 1980s. His exhibitions were numerous, starting with those in Trieste in 1953, 1957 and 1961; to continue with exhibitions in Germany, Norway, America and England. His activity in Rome in the seventies was intense, where the Galleria Russo in Piazza di Spagna - starting in 1972 - organized numerous "personal" exhibitions of the artist. In 1974 the Treves art gallery in Milan exhibited a wide range of the works of the master Giuseppe Succi. His quotations appear - among many publications - in the 1972 Bolaffì catalogue.
