(Parma, 1929 - 1988). He carried out his activity mainly in Milan after having lived from 1954 to 1958 in Switzerland, France and Germany. He held personal and collective exhibitions in various Italian and foreign cities including Parma, Reggio Emilia, Milan, Rome, Paris, New York. He was part of the artistic group Nuova Figurazione. He created the costumes and sets for Giuseppe Verdi's Otello, the inaugural opera of the 1982-1983 opera season at the Teatro Regio in Parma. In 1984 he painted the altarpiece of the Abbey of San Giovanni in Torrechiara, depicting the Madonna delle Nevi. In April 1988 he was appointed Academician in Parma.
