Pier Toffoletti Biography
Toffoletti Pier (1957, Udine) Pier Toffoletti, after graduating from the Art School of Udine in 1976, opened his own advertising studio, creating advertising campaigns and creative video clips. He subsequently also made animated short films and in his spare time he began to dedicate himself to painting, a field in which he fully committed himself between '92 and '95 following trips to Central and South America. He exhibited in many personal and collective exhibitions in places such as the Cultural Institute in Tokyo (1999), at the Asahi Art Communication in Tokyo (2002) and in the same year he exhibited “The wonder of art” at the Palazzo Zenobio in Venice. In 2004 he held his first sculpture exhibition at the headquarters of the Swiss Banking Union in Geneva and held solo shows at Villa Mozart in Milan, in Miami, at the General Consulate of Italy and at the Art Center. In 2008 he organized a personal exhibition at the Correr Museum in Venice, participated in OPEN XI at the Lido of Venice and held a solo exhibition at the Palazzo del Senato in Milan. He also participated in important international art fairs in Madrid, New York, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Art Basel Miami, in Switzerland, Slovenia and in Italian ones such as the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Art Expo Bari, Arte Padova, Affordable Art Fair from Milan. His works can be found in public institutions and private collections in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Japan, France, Holland, Spain, Switzerland and the United States.
