Romolo Trivelloni Biography
Trivelloni Romolo – Painter (Ronciglione, 18 Aug. 1917 – Rome, 14 Apr. 1974) Brigadier of Public Security, began painting as a self-taught in 1939, but made his debut only in 1956 with a personal exhibition in the Galleria del Vantaggio upon presentation by Domenico Purificazione . He then participated in numerous competitions (Premio Latina, Premio Arezzo, Premio Avezzano, Premio Foggia and Premio Michetti), winning the 1st prize in Ancona in the Riviera del Conero Prize. He also took part in collective exhibitions, such as the Quadrennial in Rome, the Maggio in Bari and the Exhibition of the Artists of Rome and Lazio; after his debut in 1959 he held personal exhibitions almost annually: in 1960 in Chieti, in the Bottega d'Arte, presented by Giuseppe Sciortino, in 1961 in Verona, in the Ghelfi Gallery and in Rome in the Galleria del Vantaggio, in 1962 in Arezzo, Galleria dell 'Meeting, in 1963 in Biella, Circolo degli Artisti, in 1964 in Naples, Galleria La Barcaccia, in 1965 in Rome, Galleria Russo, presented by Giuseppe Sciortino, in 1967 in Chianciano, Centro d'Arte La Barcaccia, in 1969 in Rome , Galleria La Barcaccia, in 1973 – shortly before his untimely death – again in Rome, in the Galleria Russo. He was also an engraver and his works can be found in the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, in the Municipal Gallery of Arezzo, in the Pinacoteca of Chieti.
