Valentino Vago (Barlassina 1931) Lives and works in Milan. As soon as he finished his studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, in 1955 he exhibited at the "VI Quadriennale d'Arte" in Rome. In 1960 he held his first solo show at the Salone Annunciata in Milan. From that moment his work will establish itself as one of the most significant in Italian painting in recent decades. Unmistakable for the quality of the light and the lyricism of the sign. In his long artistic career he has participated in numerous personal and important collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad. His works are present in important Italian and foreign private and public collections. Milan has dedicated important exhibitions to him, including those of 1980 at Palazzo Reale and 1983, at the Pac - Pavilion of Contemporary Art. From 1979 to today he has dedicated , with continuity, to mural painting, painting public and private environments both in Italy and abroad. Over a dozen of these interventions are inside churches.
