Vetreria Vistosi is an Italian company active in the blown glass decorative lighting sector. Its history began after the Second World War, when Guglielmo Vistosi, heir to a century-old tradition in Murano glass manufacturing, opened a new furnace in Murano. In the 1950s, thanks to his nephews Gino and Luciano Vistosi, the company's production began to specialize in lighting items, attracting considerable interest. Thus, great collaborations began in 1960, key to the success of what would become Vetreria Vistosi, which linked its production to the names of the most famous designers of the time, including Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Adalberto Dal Lago. In 1989 Giancarlo Moretti, Murano entrepreneur who has long been active in the glass industry, takes over the prestigious brand, giving life to Vetreria Vistosi. Thus began a profound production and commercial reorganization and new collaborations with designers and creatives began.
