Raul Viviani Biography

Florentine, he moved with his family to Milan in 1889, graduating from the Brera Academy, a student of Mentessi. assiduous participant of the Venetian Biennials. His works were also appreciated abroad, in particular Brussels in 1910, Munich in 1913. From 1931, called to found a painting academy, he lived and worked in Utuguay. He also passionately cultivated etching and monotype. In 1966 the municipality of Milan dedicated a posthumous exhibition to him curated by Francesco Wildt and Luigi Bracchi.
