Jonathan Yule is an artist originally from Norfolk, who spent his youth in the Tendring Hundred region of Essex, where he tended livestock. After studying agricultural management at Writtle and Sparsholt, however, his passion for art and love of nature led him down a different creative path. Always fascinated by wildlife and the beautiful coastal landscape of Norfolk, Yule has decided to make the representation of these themes the central core of his works, with particular attention to wild birds. His paintings expertly integrate the presence of wetlands, salt marshes, moors and forests. His deep connection with animals and nature has led him to travel all over the world, including an unforgettable visit to Kenya. His artistic talent and passion for nature also afforded him the opportunity to collaborate with Artists for Nature Foundation (ANF) and to work with Richard Kemp on a film about the wildlife of Wood Buffalo National Park in Alberta, Canada.
