Tino Aime (1931-2017) is a well-known Italian artist, born in Cuneo.
After attending the Free Academy of Turin, Aime exhibited as a sculptor before dedicating himself to painting and graphics, becoming an internationally known performer.
Aime began exhibiting in 1963 and has achieved recognition in Italy, France, Romania and the United States. Since 1983 his works have been present in the prestigious Prandi catalog of Reggio Emilia. In 1997 the Province of Turin created a calendar entirely dedicated to Aime's graphics and the artist created the sketch for the Galileo Ferraris commemorative stamp issued on 7 February 1997.
The Piedmont Region dedicated a personal exhibition to him in 1992 in the Palazzo della Regione in Turin. In 1997 he created the painting for the Susa Palio and the sketch for the ticket for the Italy Susa-Moncenisio Lottery. Among his most significant works is the monument for the centenary of the Susa-Moncenisio uphill car race placed in 2002 in Susa. Aime is one of the most appreciated artists in the Piedmontese and Italian pictorial and sculptural scene.
