Sergio Albano was born in Turin in 1939, where he attended the Art School and subsequently the Accademia Albertina in Turin to improve his artistic skills. Throughout his career the artist has demonstrated interest in a variety of areas including painting, teaching and editorial activities. He founded and directed a painting school known as "Il Gruppo d'Arte di Via Perrone", which organizes painting exhibitions and cultural events. His works are exhibited in several prestigious galleries both in Italy and abroad. For example, he participated in the ''Art Expo'' in Geneva and New York, he exhibited at the Man Art Gallery in Paris and in the Jinan Museum Art Gallery in China. Furthermore, he has also created wall paintings in various locations in Piedmont, his art has also been appreciated in the world of literature, in fact some of his works have been reproduced on the covers of copyright and books by authors such as Françoise Sagan and Tahar Ben Jelloun , for various publishing houses such as Mondadori, Rizzoli and De Agostini. Albano collaborated with the Vittorio Alfieri Theater Company for various theatrical productions, in 1991, 1996 and in 2001 he participated in the prestigious national competition "Gaudenzio Ferrari" in Santhià. He has also participated in numerous international fairs, obtaining recognition and awards from critics. The artist died in 2008.
