Achille Alberti was an Italian sculptor born in Milan on March 12, 1860, and died in Camnago on July 15, 1943. He studied at the Brera Academy and was a teacher at the same academy. He created numerous sculptures and monuments, gaining international recognition. He participated in various exhibitions, receiving awards for his works. He was also a painter and draftsman. He worked on important projects such as the statues on the facade of the Milan Stock Exchange building. A retrospective exhibition was dedicated to him in 1930.
