Alma'ch Biography
ALMA'CH (Sarroch, 1956) Sardinian artist, he completed art school in Milan and attended the Brera Academy of Fine Arts for a few years, where, in addition to painting, he acquired specializations in cinematography. The pseudonym derives from "Almach", which is a star of the first magnitude in the constellation of Taurus, linked to Venus, planet of beauty and femininity. His works mainly represent fruits, symbolizing the eroticism of the female body, represented in the form of grapes or strawberries or bunches of red cherries, in a "game" halfway between imagination and reality. Alma'ch paints the fruits when they are at their maximum point of ripeness, dripping with dew, turgid, fleshy, juicy. Alma' Ch has belonged to the "New Italian Pop Art" since 2002, where he expresses, with modernity, the exaltation of the image, through exaggerated enlargements of the shapes and details of human bodies. An eclectic and surprising artist, who makes the images that his mind takes possession of more and more real, showing all the possible eroticism through a canvas.
