Adriano Altamira (1947). His photographic production is conducted on the double register of theoretical reflection and artistic research. It is a continuous association of similar works and their details, in which he wants to find and highlight the cultural constants of contemporary society. The debut is marked by the research "Area of ​​Coincidence", which will extend throughout the entire period of the Seventies. In the Eighties and Nineties the works coincided with his dreams (Ice Dreams) which he brought to life in three dimensions, after having described and drawn them. In 1980 he participated in the Venice Biennale and the Milan Triennale. In 2005 he will be present at the Rome Quadrennial with a triptych from the Giudizio sul Giudizio series. In addition to being an artist, he is also the author of books on photography and a journalist for important newspapers.
