Roberto Ambrosini was a painter originally from Milan born in 1946 and passed away in 1981. The artist had a solid academic education which allowed him to develop a technique which, in addition to allowing him to obtain the naturalistic rendering of a subject, allowed him to obtain also effects of freshness and liveliness given by the rapid application of the paint. He specialized in the creation of still lifes and his pictorial style seems to tend towards hyperrealism, as one can see the desire to objectively and faithfully portray on the canvas what the artist has before his eyes. His pictorial technique is very reminiscent of the Flemish one which can be seen above all in the reproduction of materials and the light effects reflected in them. His artistic technique is such as to insert objects into the space in a completely natural way.
