Gianfranco Anastasio was born in Messina in 1956. He graduated in architecture in 1985. His work combines feeling of matter and analysis of space, in a pictorial practice that is both cognitive and operational: "each work adds world to the world, expands it the borders, makes other aspects of reality visible”.
