Alessio Ancillai, after completing his training in the medical-scientific field, moved to Rome and in 2000 began dedicating himself to creative research. He experiments with different languages ​​in his poems, paintings, videos and installations. His research focuses on the qualities that make a person unique as such, first of all the ability to visualize a line. The social theme of workplace fatalities, which seeks to examine the processes of inhumanity, is another topic the artist focuses on. Lately he has been using LED technology, using light not to illuminate but rather to seek a third dimension in the interaction with matter.
