Fernando Andolcetti (1930 - ) is an artist born in Lucca in 1930 who now lives in La Spezia. Graduated in piano, graduated in pharmacy, he has been involved in visual arts since the 1950s. He helped found the "Il Gabbiano" Gallery - Contemporary Art of La Spezia in 1968. The connection between musical writing, images and words, in their linguistic sign and essence, is a quality that has become constant in his work since the 1980s , as a result of his musical and creative education. He has exhibited more than fifty personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad since 1961. Numerous international participations, such as: XXII Biennial of Sao Paulo in Brazil in 1994; Satie et l'Art, Municipal Gallery of Paris in 1996; Listening to the image, Seravezza Museum in 1999; The artist's book in Italy, Modern Art Gallery of Turin in 2000; Photoalchemies, Pecci Museum of Prato in 2001; A Cry from an Invisible Box, Meguro Museum in Tokyo in 2002; personal exhibition at the Medialia Gallery in New York in 2005.
